URBAN COMMUTING

GO ELECTRIC

For urban commuters who find cars impractical, there are now various electric alternatives available. For Legends recommends three smart electric vehicles for city commuting.

The Swiss company Stromer offers the ultimate e-bike, the ST 5, which has a range of up to 180 km and can be connected to a smartphone app via 3G technology. The Vespa Elettrica is a successful reinterpretation of the classic Italian scooter, with a range of up to 100 km and a top speed of 70 km/h, while the Microletta, an innovative electric tricycle from Swiss electromobility pioneer Micro, has a 3,000-watt electric motor with a range of 100 km and a top speed of 80 km/h.

Micro's latest innovation is the compact Microlino electric car, which can be charged at a normal household socket and offers space for two people. According to the manufacturer, it even has enough storage space for three crates of beer. What more could you want?

To complete the package, functional and stylish jackets from Caduff's Urban Mobility line are recommended for protection against abrassion and wind. Made from certified fabrics that protect against abrassion up to a riding speed of 45 km/h in case of a fall makes your commute even more pleasant and safe in the hazzling city traffic.
